Abstract

Pada tahun pertama mengajar, guru seringkali rentan terhadap stress dan merasa tidak percaya diri dalam menjalankan tanggung jawabnya. Self efficacy merupakan faktor yang penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh seorang guru. Seorang guru dengan self efficacy yang tinggi akan memiliki keyakinan diri bahwa dirinya mampu mencapai suatu tujuan tertentu. Self Efficacy tidak begitu saja dimiliki oleh seorang guru namun harus dikembangkan dan dibentuk di masa pendidikan di Universitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, locus of control, dan kecurangan akademik terhadap self efficacy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan Multiple regression untuk mencari hubungan antar variabel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner kepada seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Pelita Harapan angkatan tahun 2015 (semester 4) dan 2014 (semester 6) berjumlah 125 orang. Pengolahan data menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional, internal locus of control dan kejujuran akademik berpengaruh positif terhadap self efficacy. Kecerdasan emosional memiliki peranan terbesar (koefisien jalur: 0,455) dibandingkan Locus of control (koefisien jalur: 0,123) dan kejujuran akademik (koefisien jalur: 0,079) / First year teachers frequently have a tendency to burn out and feel incable of performing their responsibilities. Self efficacy is one of the important factors that enable teachers to believe in themselves that they have the capacity to achive their goals. Self efficacy is not just naturally owned by a person. Self efficacy is developed through a process, including during their time study in University. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of emotional intelligence, locus of control and academic honesty towards self efficacy. The method used is a quantitative study with multiple regression. The instrument used for data collection was a, questionnaire distrubuted to 125 second and third year student teachers in University of Pelita Harapan. All data were calculated and processed using SmartPLS. The results of this study show that emotional intelligence, internal locus of control and academic honesty have a positive affect on self efficacy. Among other variables, emotional intelligence is the factor that contributes most to this model (r: 0.455)
