Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stres dapat menimbulkan efek fisiologis yang tidak hanya melibatkan berbagai sistem dalam tubuh tetapi juga perilaku kecemasan. Motivasi adalah suatu dorongan dalam diri yang dipengaruhi faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal, yang dipicu oleh minat, kebutuhan, harapan, dan tujuan. Setiap individu memiliki motivasi yang berbeda-beda, tergantung faktor yang memicu hal tersebut. Belum ada penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mencari hubungan antara stres dengan motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa FK UPH. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa FK UPH angkatan 2017. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan studi desain potong lintang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 190 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa FK UPH angkatan 2017 dengan metode survei daring. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner MSLQ dan kuesioner DASS - 42 yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa FK UPH angkatan 2017 dari Februari 2020 – November 2020. Hasil penelitan diolah dengan metode Chi–Square. Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan sebanyak 60 mahasiswa mengalami stres ringan dengan motivasi rendah, 19 mahasiswa mengalami stres berat dengan motivasi rendah, 80 mahasiswa mengalami stres ringan dengan motivasi tinggi dan 31 mahasiswa mengalami stres berat dengan motivasi tinggi. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square yang dikoreksi didapat berupa 0,666. Odd Ratio yang didapat berupa 1,224 dengan Confidence Interval 0,631 – 2,372. Dapat diartikan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara stres dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa FK UPH angkatan 2017. Kata kunci: Stres, Motivasi Belajar, MSLQ, DASS – 42. /Background: Stress can cause physiological effects that involve not only various systems in our body but also anxiety behavior. Motivation is an internal drive that is influenced by internal and external factors, which are triggered by interests, needs, hopes, and goals. Each person has a different motivation, depending on the trigger factor. No research has been conducted to find the correlation between stress and learning motivation among FK UPH students. Objective: To find out the relationship between stress and learning motivation in students of FK UPH batch 2017. Research method: The study design chosen for this research is cross sectional. Research samples were taken from 190 students of FK UPH batch 2017 using online survey. Data was collected from MSLQ questionnaire and DASS - 42 questionnaire from February 2020 until November 2020. The results of this research was processed using the Chi-Square method. Results: The research has shown that 60 students experienced mild stress with low motivation, 19 students experienced severe stress with low motivation, 80 students experienced mild stress with high motivation and 31 students experienced severe stress with high motivation. The results of data analysis using the Chi-Square test were obtained in the form of 0.666. The odds ratio obtained is 1.224 with confidence interval of 0.631 – 2.372. It can be interpreted that there is no significant relationship between stress and learning motivation of FK UPH batch 2017. Keywords: Stress, Learning Motivation, MSLQ, DASS – 42.
