Abstract

In the current era of digitalization, technology has become part of our life, and to the extend is involving work. To understand how millennials workers adapt in the workplace with their nature of high dependency to technology. There are some factors that are believed to affect an individual behaviour intention in adopting IT, and these factors are being tested and analyse in this research. The hope of organization in adopting IT is to enhance performance and eliminate unnecessary process to increase effectivity. This study aims to : (1) To find out how perceived IT beliefs lead to a positive attitude towards perception of information technology adoption. (2) To explore the impact of task-technology fit of employees on attitude towards perception of information technology adoption. (3) To measure the impact of self-efficacy on attitude, and (4) To examine the impact of attitudes, self-efficacy, and subjective norm on behavioural intention of IT adoption. This research is categorized as a survey research. The instrument of this research is questionnaire. The sample of this research is 100 employees from all departments in PT. Bizzy Commerce Indonesia. Measures is valid and reliable for research instruments. Analysis of hypothesis test is using Partial Least Square Equation Modelling (PLS SEM) which processed using Smart PLS program version 3.2.7. The result shows that regardless of the employee degree of self-efficacy, it is not solely determine employee behaviour intention towards IT adoption. Therefore, other factors such as self-development, career opportunities, skilldevelopment, and work-life balance should be more emphasized.
