Abstract
Kedisiplinan merupakan nilai karakter yang penting bagi siswa. Kedisplinan terlihat dari perilaku yang taat akan peraturan dan prosedur di kelas dan disekolah. Penulis menemukan masalah terkait dengan kedisiplinan siswa di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Siswa kelas 9 SMP menunjukkan perilaku yang tidak memenuhi indikator kedisiplinan seperti terlambat mengikuti kelas, terlambat mengumpulkan tugas dan tidak memberikan respons yang baik saat pembelajaran. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji keteladanan guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa pada pembelajaran online. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Guru Kristen memiliki peran untuk membentuk karakter disiplin siswa melalui keteladanan guru dengan tujuan membawa siswa semakin serupa dengan Kristus. Menjadikan Yesus sebagai pusat teladan hidup yang sempurna. Hasil dari analisis dan temuan adalah terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari keteladanan guru terhadap karakter disiplin siswa. Penulis menyarankan agar keteladanan guru Kristen dapat diterapkan secara konsisten meskipun dalam kondisi pembelajaran online. Siswa membutuhkan keteladanan yang konsisten agar terbiasa berdisplin dengan sering mencontoh teladan dari guru./Discipline is an important character value for students. Discipline can be seen from the behavior that obeys the rules and procedures in the classroom and at school. The author found problems related to student discipline at the junior high school level. Grade 9 junior high school students show behavior that does not meet the disciplinary indicators such as being late for class and being late in submitting assignments. The purpose of writing this final project is to study the role of the teacher's exemplary in shaping the character of students' discipline in online learning. The writing method used is descriptive qualitative. Christian teachers have a role to shape the student's disciplinary character through the teacher's example with the aim of bringing students to be more like Christ. Make Jesus the center of a perfect life example. The results of the analysis and findings are that there is a positive and significant effect of the teacher's example on the character of students' discipline. The author suggests that the example of Christian teachers can be applied consistently even in online learning conditions. Students need consistent examples to get used to being disciplined by often following the example of the teacher.
