Abstract

Pada pembelajaran daring di salah satu sekolah Kristen ditemukan banyak siswa kelas satu Sekolah Dasar yang kurang percaya diri yang ditandai dengan 1) siswa kurang mampu untuk berinteraksi atau tampil di dalam kelas; 2) bergantung pada bantuan orang tua atau teman saat menjawab; dan 3) ragu akan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Kejatuhan manusia ke dalam dosa berakibat pada konsep diri yang dimilikinya. Konsep diri yang negatif membuat manusia termasuk siswa menjadi terlalu menyoroti kekurangannya sehingga tidak yakin akan potensi dirinya. Akan tetapi, penebusan telah dilakukan Allah untuk mengembalikan pandangan akan identitas di dalam Allah. Seharusnya siswa memiliki percaya diri yang benar sehingga meyakini potensi yang dimilikinya. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah memaparkan cara guru membantu siswa menjadi percaya diri melalui pemberian motivasi pada pembelajaran daring. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun yang menjadi hasil penelitian adalah pemberian motivasi dapat dilakukan dengan 3 cara yaitu, pujian verbal, perhatian, dan ajakan berpartisipasi. Pemberian motivasi haruslah menjadi salah satu cara untuk membantu siswa dalam mengenal identitas di dalam Allah dengan mampu yakin akan potensi yang dimiliki. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah mengkaji kembali dampak pemberian motivasi terhadap tiga ranah percaya diri siswa./In online learning at a Christian school, it was found that many first-grade elementary school students lack self-confidence as indicated by 1) students who are less able to interact or perform in class; 2) rely on the help of parents or friends when answering; and 3) doubt about their abilities. Man's fall into sin resulted in his self-concept. A negative self-concept makes humans, including students, focus too much on their shortcomings so they are not sure of their potential. However, atonement has been done by God to restore the view of identity in God. Students should have the right self-confidence so that they believe in their potential. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to describe how teachers can help students become confident through motivating online learning. The writing method used is descriptive qualitative method. As for the results of the research is the provision of motivation can be done in 3 ways, namely, verbal praise, attention, and invitations to participate. Giving motivation must be one way to help students recognize identity in God by being able to believe in their potential. Suggestions that can be given are to review the impact of providing motivation on the three domains of student self-confidence.
