Abstract
Pada umumnya kemampuan membaca diperoleh anak pada umur enam tahun. Namun hal tersebut tidak secara menyeluruh berlaku bagi semua anak. Ada anak-anak tertentu yang tidak dapat membaca pada usia tujuh tahun. Anak dengan hambatan membaca biasa dikenal dengan sebutan disleksia. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa adalah permainan scrabble. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan scrabble terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca anak disleksia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang siswa dari sekolah X yang memiliki kesulitan dalam membaca dan menulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal dengan pola desain A-B-A. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode persentase hasil tes membaca dan analisis visual Conservative Dual-Criterion. Grafik CDC menunjukkan tujuh titik berada di atas garis level dan garis tren. Kemudian dari hasil persentase data diperoleh pada kondisi baseline (A1) dengan data persentase tertinggi 40% yang berarti kemampuan membaca subjek masih rendah. Kondisi intervensi (B) menunjukkan peningkatan dengan persentase tertinggi 95%. Kondisi baseline kedua (A2) mengalami sedikit penurunan dengan persentase tertinggi 65%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis grafik CDC dan persentase dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan scrabble berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca anak disleksia / Generally, the ability to read is obtained by the children at the age of six. However, it is not fully applicable to all children. There are certain children who cannot read at the age of seven. Children with reading barriers are known as dyslexia. And one method that can be used to improve language skills is using scrabble games. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of scrabble games on improving reading ability of dyslexic child. The subject in this study is a student from school X who had difficulties in reading and writing. The research method used is experimental method with single subject with A-B-A design. The data were analyzed using the percentage of reading test result and visual analysis of Conservative Dual-Criterion. CDC graph result showed seven points are above the level line and trend line. The result of data percentage showed the highest percentage at baseline (A1) condition is 40% which means the reading ability of the subject is still low. The intervention (B) condition showed an improvement with the highest percentage is 95%. And the second baseline (A2) condition slightly decreased with the highest percentage is 65%. Based on the CDC graph analysis and percentage results can be concluded that scrabble game influences in improving reading ability of dyslexic child
