Abstract

Siswa perlu terlibat aktif di dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga berjalan dengan efektif, efisien, dan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan. Namun, penulis menemukan siswa kelas 11 tidak terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terlihat dari respon siswa dalam menjawab, mengajukan pertanyaan, mengemukakan pendapat dan tidak mengikuti instruksi dengan baik. Menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penulis menerapkan metode tanya jawab untuk mendorong siswa terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penulisan makalah ini untuk membahas pengaruh implementasi metode tanya jawab dalam menumbuhkan keaktifan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasilnya penerapan metode tanya jawab menolong siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Sebagaimana identitas siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah yang unik dan berharga dihadapan-Nya, namun telah jatuh ke dalam dosa. Guru berperan dalam menuntun siswa pada perjumpaan dengan Allah untuk mengalami pembaharuan agar siswa dapat menyadari keunikan dan keberhargaan dirinya agar dapat mengaktualisasikan dirinya dengan berani dan mengembangkan potensi yang dikaruniakan Allah. Saran yang dapat diberikan, pertama dalam penerapan metode tanya jawab dilakukan secara konsisten. Kedua, penerapan metode tanya jawab, guru dapat mengombinasikannya dengan metode lainnya agar mampu menggapai semua gaya belajar, karakteristik, kemampuan maupun kebutuhan siswa. Ketiga, untuk penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya diterapkan dalam waktu yang cukup lama untuk hasil yang maksimal./Students need to be actively in the learning process so that it runs effectively, efficiently, and achieves educational goals. However, the authors found that students of grade 11 were not actively involved in the learning process. This can be seen from the students' responses in answering, asking questions, expressing opinions, and also not following the instructions well. Answering these problems, the authors apply the question-and-answer method to encourage students to be actively involved in learning. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the effect of the implementation of the question and-answer method to encourage student activity. The method that use of this research is descriptive qualitative. The result is that the application of the question-and-answer method helps students to be actively involved in learning. Teacher must see their students as God's images who has fallen into sin. So that, the teacher plays a role in guiding students to an encounter with God to experience renewal in their life, so that students can realize their uniqueness and worth so that they can actualize themselves boldly and develop the potential that God has given to them. Suggestions that can be given are, firstly, the application of the question-and-answer method is carried out consistently. Second, the application of the question-and answer method, the teacher can combine it with other methods in order to be able to reach all learning styles, characteristics, abilities and needs of students. Third, for further research, it should be applied for a long time for maximum results.
