Abstract

The research conducted by the writer in the K3 class at a Christian school in Tangerang showed that the kindergarten students were not disciplined in the synchronous class. This happened because there were some interruptions in the classroom. This problem is rooted in the ethics that students cannot perform discipline attitudes yet. Therefore, this research aimed to identify the factors that caused the students’ indisciplined attitudes and how teachers applied the class procedure to help the kindergarten students discipline during the online learning. This was descriptive-qualitative research. The first result of this research was the lack of reminders, warnings and penalties became the factors that made the students undisciplined in the online learning. Second, the teacher reminds the students about the “Give Me 5” class procedure every time the class is about to starts, wants to give instruction, and when the teacher finds the students do not follow the procedure to help the kindergarten students discipline during online learning. In conclusion, the teacher’s consistency in applying the “Give Me 5” class procedure helps the kindergarten students disciplined during online learning. The recommendation for future researchers is to focus on other approaches to help the kindergarten students discipline during online learning. / Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis pada kelas K3 di suatu sekolah Kristen di Tangerang menunjukkan bahwa siswa TK menunjukkan sikap tidak disiplin di kelas sinkronus. Hal ini terjadi karena adanya beberapa masalah di dalam kelas. Masalah tersebut berakar pada etika siswa, bahwa siswa belum dapat menunjukkan sikap disiplin. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab sikap tidak disiplin siswa dan bagaimana guru seharusnya menerapkan prosedur kelas untuk membantu siswa TK menjadi disiplin selama pembelajaran online. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil yang pertama dari penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pengingat, peringatan, dan hukuman terhadap kesalahan menjadi faktor yang membuat siswa tidak disiplin dalam pembelajaran online. Kedua, guru mengingatkan kepada siswa mengenai prosedur kelas “Give Me 5” setiap sebelum memulai kelas, ketika guru akan memberikan instruksi, dan ketika ada siswa yang melakukan kesalahan untuk membantu siswa TK menunjukkan sikap disiplin selama pembelajaran online. Kesimpulannya, konsistensi guru dalam menerapkan prosedur kelas “Give Me 5” membantu siswa TK disiplin selama pembelajaran online. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah untuk fokus pada pendekatan lain untuk membantu siswa TK disiplin selama pembelajaran online.
