Abstract

Penilaian formatif merupakan bagian dari kegiatan pembelajaran yang penting untuk dilakukan. Penilaian formatif akan berjalan efektif apabila media yang digunakan juga sesuai dengan prinsip ekonomis, praktikabilitas, dan akuntabel penilaian. Namun, temuan pada salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta menunjukkan bahwa media penilaian formatif yang digunakan oleh guru belum cukup efektif dan masih konvensional. Guru Kristen memiliki kemampuan intelektual yang harus dikembangkan untuk melayani Tuhan dan sesama. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan media google form yang efektif untuk melaksanakan penilaian formatif. Paper ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan penggunaan google form untuk efektivitas penilaian formatif siswa kelas V sekolah Kristen di Jakarta. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil atau kesimpulan penulisan menunjukkan bahwa google form memenuhi prinsip ekonomis, praktikabilitas, dan akuntabel. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari 1) sisi ekonomis: siswa tidak perlu mengerjakan soal secara manual dan lebih cepat dalam mengerjakan soal; 2) sisi praktikabilitas: siswa mudah mengerjakan soal, google form memberikan nilai secara langsung kepada siswa, dan siswa bisa melihat letak kesalahan mereka beserta jawaban yang benar; dan 3) sisi akuntabel: siswa memiliki jejak digital. Maka, penggunaan google form terbukti efektif untuk penilaian formatif siswa kelas V. Penulis menyarankan kepada setiap guru untuk memanfaatkan media penilaian berbasis teknologi secara inovatif./ Formative assessment is a part of learning activity that important to be held. This formative assessment will be effective if the media used is cohere to the principles of economy, practicability, and accountable assessment. However, a finding at a Christian school in Jakarta shows that the formative assessment media used by the teachers is not effective enough and still conventional. Christian teachers have intellectual abilities that should be developed to serve God and others. One of them is by using google form media which is effective for formative assessment. This paper is intended to explain the use of google form on the effectiveness of formative assessment among fifth grader at Christian school in Jakarta. The writer uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of the writing show that the google form meets the principles of economic, practical, and accountable of assessment. It can be proven from 1) economic side: students do not need to work on questions manually and become faster in working on questions; 2) practical side: students answer on questions easily, google form shows the students’ result directly, and students are able to see their wrong answer as well as the correct one; and 3) accountable side: students have a digital footprint. Therefore, the use of google form is proven to be effective on the formative assessment of fifth graders. The writer suggests every teacher to use technology-based assessment media in an innovative way.
