Abstract

Berdasarkan pengalaman praktikum penulis dan penelitian terdahulu, terlihat bahwa kemampuan komunikasi lisan matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini terlihat jelas pada intensitas jumlah siswa yang merespons saat diminta untuk mengkomunikasikan ide matematis mereka. Penyebabnya jelas bermacam-macam. Namun, kesemuanya itu perlu dilihat berdasarkan sumber kebenaran yang ultimat dalam epistemologi Kristen, yaitu Alkitab, yang adalah Firman Allah. Berdasarkan perspektif Kristen Alkitabiah, semua penyebab yang ada sebenarnya berakar pada kejatuhan manusia di dalam dosa. Namun, sekalipun telah jatuh, kemampuan komunikasi tetap masih ada dalam diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, guru menggunakan media pembelajaran Kahoot! sebagai langkah nyata untuk mendorong ketercapaian komunikasi matematis siswa. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketercapaian indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot!, serta dampak penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot! terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada saat pembelajaran daring, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot! memberikan dampak yang baik untuk mendorong siswa mengkomunikasikan ide matematis mereka. Walaupun ketercapaian setiap indikator tidak secara maksimal sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot!. Saran penulis, perlu dilakukan diskusi dalam bentuk kelompok kecil yang berisi 3-5 orang setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot!. / Based on the author's practical experience and previous research, the students' mathematical verbal communication skills are still relatively low. This can be seen clearly in the intensity of the number of students who respond when asked to communicate their mathematical ideas. The reasons are clearly manifold. However, all this needs to be seen based on the ultimate source of truth in Christian epistemology, namely the Bible, which is the Word of God. From a Biblical Christian perspective, all the causes that exist are rooted in the fall of man into sin. However, even though it has fallen, communication skills are still present in students. Therefore, the teacher uses the Kahoot!! learning media as a real step to encourage the achievement of students' mathematical communication. Therefore, this study aims to determine the achievement of indicators of students' mathematical communication skills before and after using Kahoot! learning media, as well as the impact of using Kahoot! learning media on students' mathematical communication skills during online learning, using descriptive qualitative research methods. The results showed that the use of Kahoot! learning media had a good impact on encouraging students to communicate their mathematical ideas. Although the achievement of each indicator is not optimal before and after the use of the Kahoot! learning media. The author's suggestion is to have a discussion in the form of small groups containing 3-5 people after using the Kahoot! learning media.
