Abstract

Kepercayaan diri merupakan bagian fundamental karena adanya keyakinan akan kemampuan yang dimiliki disertai upaya aktualisasi diri untuk mencapai target atau keberhasilan. Namun, fakta di lapangan masih dijumpai sejumlah siswa yang kurang percaya diri yang ditandai dengan tidak terpenuhinya indikator kepercayaan diri dan perilaku yang ditunjukkan siswa di kelas. Siswa tidak memiliki keyakinan dalam mengerjakan ujian matematika, tidak mengerjakan tugas, dan tidak memiliki inisiatif dalam bertanya maupun berpendapat. Dalam menanamkan percaya diri siswa, guru dapat memberikan penguatan untuk meningkatkan rasa aman, keberhargaan diri, dan keyakinan siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif adalah memaparkan pemberian reinforcement untuk menanamkan kepercayaan diri siswa pada pelajaran matematika selama pembelajaran daring. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa untuk menanamkan kepercayaan diri siswa dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian penguatan secara verbal (kata-kata motivasi/pujian), non-verbal (gestur, mimik, dan fitur Ms. Teams), maupun latihan soal menggunakan Quizizz. Pemberian reinforcement tidak hanya membuat siswa merasa dihargai, namun membantu siswa melihat dirinya diciptakan menurut gambar dan rupa Allah yang memiliki karakteristik, relasi, dan potensi Allah. Kemudian, mampu bertanggung jawab untuk mengaktualisasi dirinya secara utuh atas kemampuan yang telah Allah berikan. Disarankan agar penelitian selanjutnya dilakukan dalam waktu yang lama dan menggunakan platform online yang menarik. / Self-confidence is a fundamental part because there is belief in one's abilities accompanied by self-actualization efforts to achieve targets or success. However, the facts on the ground are that there are still a number of students who lack confidence, which is indicated by the non-fulfillment of the indicators of self-confidence and behavior shown by students in class. Students do not have confidence in doing math exams, not doing assignments, and not having the initiative in asking questions or giving opinions. In instilling students' self-confidence, teachers can provide reinforcement to increase students' sense of security, self-esteem, and confidence to develop their abilities. Therefore, the purpose of writing with descriptive qualitative method is to describe the provision of reinforcement to instill students’ confidence in mathematics lessons during online learning. The results showed that to instill students' self-confidence can be done by providing verbal reinforcement (words of motivation/praise), non-verbal (gestures, expressions, and features of Ms. Teams), as well as practice questions using Quizizz. Giving reinforcement not only makes students feel appreciated, but helps students see themselves created in the image and likeness of God who has the characteristics, relationships, and potential of God. Then, able to be responsible for actualizing himself as a whole on the abilities that God has given. It is recommended that further research be carried out in a long time and use an online platform interesting.
