Abstract

Penyampaian konsep materi ajar merupakan hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran karena sangat berpengaruh pada pemahaman siswa, proses ini juga disebut dengan transfer pemahaman. Proses transfer pemahaman dari guru kepada siswa dapat terjadi dengan baik apabila guru dapat memvisualisasikan pemahaman yang dimiliki ke dalam bentuk yang lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Salah satu metode yang dapat membantu guru memvisualisasikan konsep adalah metode virtual tour museum. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan langkah-langkah penggunaan metode virtual tour museum dalam mata pelajaran PKN. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode virtual tour museum dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan konsep materi ajar. Dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: perencanaan (penentuan tujuan pembelajaran, media museum virtual, dan pembuatan panduan tur), pelaksanaan pembelajaran (siswa melakukan eksplorasi, guru mengawasi dan memberikan bimbingan, guru menjelaskan kembali keseluruhan materi), dan evaluasi pembelajaran (guru mengecek kembali pemahaman dan pola aktivitas siswa, refleksi pembelajaran). Pengembangan penelitian dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan pengujian efektivitas dari metode virtual tour museum pada mata pelajaran lainnya. / Teaching the concept material is significant in learning. The delivery of the concept is necessary because it is impactful on students'understanding, this process is also called transfer of knowledge. The process of transferring knowledge from teachers to students can be occurred if the teacher can visualize their knowledge into a form that is more easily understood by students. One method that can help teachers visualize concepts is the virtual museum tour method. The purpose of this paper is to explain the steps of using the virtual museum tour method in Civilization subjects. The research method used in this paper is a descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the virtual museum tour method could assist teachers in conveying the concept of teaching materials. With the following steps: planning (setting learning objectives, virtual museum media, and making tour guides), implementing learning (students doing exploration, teachers supervising and providing guidance, teachers re-explaining the entire material), and evaluation of learning (teachers check back understanding and patterns of student activity, learning reflection). Evaluating the effectiveness of virtual tour museum method on other subjects can be done for further research & development.
