Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari perancangan interior ruang konseling berlandaskan wawasan ilmu psikologi. Bagaimana suatu rancangan ruang konseling dapat menunjang aktivitas baik bagi para praktisi, maupun klien. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian yaitu dengan cara menganalisis studi kasus ruang konseling, dan menemukan parameter-parameter perancangan dari setiap studi kasus yang ada./ The aim of the research is to study the interior design of the counseling room based on the insights of psychology. How a counseling room design can support activities for both practitioners and clients. The research method used in this research is by analyzing case studies of the counseling room, and finding the design parameters of each case study. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setiap rancangan ruang konseling yang diteliti mengandung parameter-parameter yang ada. Namun setiap parameter tersebut dapat disesuaikan menurut kebutuhan baik fisik bangunan, maupun para pengguna ruang konseling. Perancangan fisik ruang konseling, serta kredibilitas praktisi memiliki peran yang sama penting dalam menciptakan suasana ruang konseling yang layak bagi para pengguna./ The results showed that each counseling room design studied contained existing parameters. However, each of these parameters can be adjusted according to the needs of both the physical building and the users of the counseling room. The physical design of the counseling room, as well as the credibility of the practitioner, have an equally important role in creating a proper atmosphere for the counseling room for users.
