Abstract

Gerakan Sosial merupakan fenomena yang didorong oleh globalisasi karena adanya kerinduan kebersamaan dan solidaritas dalam sebuah komunitas atau rasa memiliki. Adanya ketimpangan sosial dan demokrasi membuka ruang untuk Gerakan Sosial Transnasional, Salah satunya adalah The Silkroad Ensemble, Silkroad Ensemble adalah sebuah kolektif musik yang menggandeng musisi-musisi internasional yang menghubungkan perbedaan latar belakang budaya yang mereka miliki. Penulis melihat potensi dari kebudayaan bermusik dapat menjadi Langkah untuk mengatasi isu perdamaian seperti rasisme, diskriminasi dan prasangka buruk. Penulisan ini memiliki rumusan masalah bagaimana The Silkroad Ensemble terbentuk sebagai sebuah gerakan yang mengkampanyekan perdamaian dan bagaima The Silkroad Ensemble berkontribusi terhadap perdamaian internasional. Penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap bagaimana The Silkroad Ensemble terbentuk sebagai sebuah gerakan yang mengkampanyekan perdamaian dan kontribusi apa yang telah dilakukan terhadap perdamaian internasional melalui sudut pandang teori konstruktivisme yang diikuti dengan konsep intersubjektivitas, Gerakan Sosial Transnasional Pembanguan Perdamaian dan Kampanye Perdamaian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode deskriptif dan juga historis, menggunakan data sekunder dan juga akan dianalisis secara naratif sesuai alur penelitian. Penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap bagaimana The Silkroad Ensemble sebagai Gerakan Sosial Transnasional terbentuk sebagai sebuah gerakan yang mengkampanyekan perdamaian dan kontribusi apa yang telah dilakukan terhadap perdamaian internasional melalui sudut pandang teori konstruktivisme tentu dengan korelasinya juga. Penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa bagaimana Silkroad terbentuk dan bagaimana mereka berkontribusi terhadap perdamaian internasional melalui konser, donasi, edukasi, serta pelibatan masyarakat lokal. Yang dilakukan Silkroad memang tidak terlihat secara langsung namun proses dan upayanya akan diteliti melalui penulisan penelitian ini. / A Social movement is a phenomenon driven by globalization because of the longing for togetherness and solidarity in a community or sense of belonging. The existence of social inequality and democracy opens space for Transnational Social Movements, One of which is The Silkroad Ensemble, Silkroad Ensemble is a music collective that collaborates with international musicians who connect their different cultural backgrounds. The author sees the potential of musical culture as a step to overcome peace issues such as racism, discrimination and prejudice. This writing has research questions such as how The Silkroad Ensemble was formed as a movement that campaigns for peace and how The Silkroad Ensemble contributes to international peace. This study seeks to reveal how The Silkroad Ensemble was formed as a movement that campaigns for peace and what contribution has been made to international peace through the perspective of constructivism theory followed by the concept of intersubjectivity, Transnational Social Movement for Peace Building and Peace Campaign. This research uses a qualitative approach, descriptive and historical methods, uses secondary data and will also be analysed in a narrative manner according to the research flow. This study seeks to reveal how The Silkroad Ensemble as a Transnational Social Movement was formed as a movement that campaigns for peace and what contributions have been made to international peace through the perspective of constructivism theory, of course with its correlations as well. This research reveals how Silkroad was formed and how they contribute to international peace through concerts, donations, education, and involvement of local communities. What Silkroad does is not directly visible, but the process and its efforts will be investigated through the writing of this research.
