Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempelajari dan menemukan bukti empiris tentang bagaimana kondisi financial distress diungkapkan melalui parameter rasio-rasio keuangan,. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2019 dengan total sampel 30 perusahaan. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk mendapatkan data sekunder yang kemudian akan diuji dengan analisa regresi linear berganda menggunakan software statistik SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh negatif antara likuiditas dengan financial distress serta adanya pengaruh positif dari leverage terhadap financial distress. Variabel profiitabilitas memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap financial distress./ This research was conducted to study and provide empirical findings about the relationship between financial distress and financial ratios. This study uses liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, and leverage to represent financial ratios which will be used to observe how these ratios would contribute to financial distress. The data used in this research was collected through purposive sampling method from companies' financial reports provided in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the year of 2017-2020.Informations obtained will be used to measure the effect of financial ratios on financial distress by multiple linear regression analysis using statistics software SPSS. The study indicates that there is negative effect from liquidity ratio and profitability ratio on financial distress, while leverage affects financial distress positively.
