Abstract
One of the famous card game in Indonesia is Domino. This game is usually played by two person or more, maximum 4 person. The basic rules of domino are simple. Each players have to put their own card that have a same value (either the head or tail part) with the card at the dock.
An application of Domino is developed in this final project using Minimax Algorithm and the type of player is human versus computer (Artificial Intelligence). On the minimax algorithm, checking is carried out for all possiblities to end of the game. In the search tree, MAX will take the largest value with the assumption that value is the best move for computer AI. While on the other hand, MIN will take the smallest value with assumption that value can
reduce the chance of the opponent to win. After building a domino application, the testing done by several people
who played this game for 10 times in each level and each type of player. Based on the testing result, it can be concluded that Minimax can be applied to domino application. The success rate in 2 player is 76,7% (easy level), 60% (medium level), and 40% (hard level). Then the success rate in 3 player is 56,7% (easy level), 46,7% (medium level), and 36,7% (hard level). The success rate in 4 player is 53,3% (easy level), 43,3% (medium level), and 16,7% (hard level).
