Abstract

Menjadi mahasiswa/i organisator bukanlah hal yang mudah karena tanggung jawab bertambah, tentu ada tantangan, dan tekanan yang berbeda daripada mahasiswa/i yang tidak menjadi organisator. Konflik peran yang dialami dan berbagai tantangan yang dijumpai bisa memengaruhi kepuasan hidup, membuat mahasiswa/i organisator merasakan berbagai afek negatif, dan memengaruhi subjective well-being mahasiswa/i organisator. Mereka perlu memiliki sifat yang mendorong mereka untuk tetap tekun dan bertahan dalam mencapai tujuan jangka panjang demi meningkatkan kepuasan hidup dan afek positif sehingga subjective well-being pun meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh grit terhadap subjective well-being pada mahasiswa/i organisator di Indonesia dalam masa pandemi COVID-19. Terdapat 100 mahasiswa/i organisator yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Grit Scale untuk mengukur variable grit, Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), dan Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) untuk mengukur komponen kognitif (life satisfaction) dan komponen afektif (afek positif dan negatif) subjective well-being. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara positif dari grit terhadap life satisfaction dan afek positif, serta pengaruh yang signifikan secara negatif dari grit terhadap afek negatif. / Becoming student organization activists are not an easy thing because the responsibilities increase, of course, there are challenges, and different pressures than students who do not become organization activists. The role conflicts experienced and the various challenges encountered can make student organization activists feel various negative effects and affect the subjective well-being of student organization activists. Student organization activists need to have noncognitive traits that encourage them to persevere and persist in achieving long-term goals in order to increase positive affect so that subjective well-being also increases. This study aimed to see the effect of grit on subjective well-being on student organizers in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are 100 student organization activists who participate in this research. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire used in this study, namely the Grit Scale to measure the grit variable, Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), and the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) to measure the cognitive component (life satisfaction) and the affective component (positive and negative affect) Subjective well-being. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect of grit on life satisfaction and positive affect, as well as a significant negative effect of grit on negative affect.
