Copyright infringement in digital platforms has risen during the advancement of technology, especially song Copyright infringement. The purpose of this research is to firstly review regulations related to Copyright, especially in the field of songs and/or music, secondly to evaluate the implementation of said regulations, and lastly to develop troubleshooting recommendations regarding songs and/or music in a live stream on Twitch. This research uses normative methods with a statute approach. Legal materials consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Data collection was through library research and interviews. From this research, the results show that firstly, Law number 28 of 2014 regarding Copyright and Government Regulation number 56 of 2021 regarding Management of Song and/or Music Copyright Royalties has provided sufficient legal protection for songs and/or music. However, Government Regulation number 56 of 2021 only specifically protects songs that are used commercially in public services physically and do not accommodate songs that are used commercially on digital platforms. Furthermore, Indonesian regulations are still behind when compared to regulations in another country such as the DMCA from the United States. Results also show that implementation of the rights of song copyrights is still subpar even though there are government regulations and platform rules protecting it.
