On this earth, almost all the environment has been polluted, especially water. In Indonesia too, environmental pollution has been very much done by humans, whether intentional or not. One example of environmental pollution can be seen in Bali. Bali, which is an island full of tourists, actually contributes a lot of plastic waste to the sea. Therefore, the Governor of Bali made Governor Regulation Number 97 of 2018 concerning Limitation of Disposal of Single-Use Plastic Waste. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze the suitability between the provisions of Governor Regulation Number 97 of 2018 concerning Limits for Disposal of Single- Use Plastic Waste in Bali Province with Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights and to analyze the implementation of related sustainable tourism. to Governor Regulation Number 97 of 2018 concerning Limiting the Occurrence of Single-Use Plastic Waste in Bali Province. Sustainable Tourism is a concept in the development of tourism in an area that provides many benefits and benefits from various sides, be it economic, environmental, or social. Bali is one of the provinces that has implemented the Sustainable Tourism program and to realize the beauty of the environment this program is in accordance with Governor Regulation Number 97 of 2018 concerning Limits for Disposal of Single-Use Plastic Waste. With the existence of Governor Regulation Number 97 of 2018 concerning the Limitation of Single-Use Plastic Waste in Bali Province, it has an indirect positive impact on Sustainable Tourism because reducing environmental pollution will increasingly attract more tourists to Bali. This Governor Regulation is very important for the environment in Bali because if more tourists enter, the more plastic waste will be wasted, therefore the existence of this Governor Regulation indirectly minimizes plastic waste in Bali that can reduce waste.
