Abstract
Di Indonesia masih sedikit tontonan yang bermutu untuk anak dan remaja. Seperti yang dilihat sehari-hari, tontonan dalam tayangan televisi diisi dengan tayangan sinetron yang sebenarnya diperuntukkan untuk orang dewasa. Dalam perihal tersebut, maka untuk memberikan tayangan yang bermanfaat, serta dapat menambah wawasan anak dan remaja, maka diperlukan media promosi, dan informasi yang tepat untuk sasaran dapat mengetahui keberadaan festival tersebut. Maka dari itu, karya ilmiah ini akan membahas mengenai permasalahan kurangnya awareness sasaran terhadap KidsFfest. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kepustakaan, media internet yang membahas mengenai tayangan anak dan remaja di Indonesia, serta teknik komunikasi, yaitu dengan mewawancarai pihak dari KidsFfest. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat dibuktikan bahwa faktor-faktor yang ada di dalam promosi KidsFfest sebelumnya, kurang efektif dan visualnya yang tidak langsung dimengerti oleh sasaran, sehingga sasaran tidak langsung mengetahui bahwa KidsFfest merupakan sebuah festival untuk anak dan remaja dari berbagai negara yang dapat memberikan manfaat serta menambah wawasan bagi buah hati mereka./ In Indonesia, only a view quality movie or television show that can give children and teenager a good impact. As we can see, many soap opera in television influence bad thing to them. In this situation, they need some spectacle that can bring them to see the world, and can give them knowledge. So, this final project will research and resolve about why KidsFfest can not achieve their target audience. Research was done by internet, literature, and interview with KidsFfest team. The conclusion are, many factor caused KidsFfest can not achieve their target audience, mainly it is because their lack of media promotion, and their last visual design for promotion, not directly explain about KidsFfest is a film festival for kids and teenager from around the world.
