Abstract

Industri kuliner merupakan salah satu industri yang terus mengalami peningkatan dalam perindustrian. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan munculnya produk inovasi baru yang terus ditawarkan kepada masyarakat. Adanya inovasi dalam industri kuliner memberikan tren yang menarik perhatian masyarakat. Salah satu hidangan yang menjadi tren adalah croffle yang merupakan salah satu jenis pastry perpaduan dari dua jenis kudapan yang sudah lebih lama dikenal yaitu croissant dan waffle. Adanya perpaduan ini memiliki keunikan sendiri karena croffle memberikan tekstur yang renyah dan juga lembut karena terbuat dari adonan croissant dan memiliki bentuk menyerupai waffle yang dihasilkan oleh pembuatan menggunakan alat pembuat waffle. Kemudian, hidangan ini ditemukan banyak digemari oleh para remaja dan juga orang dewasa. Oleh karena itu, penulis memutuskan untuk membuat buku tentang croffle yang berjudul Mari Mengenal Croffle untuk dapat dibaca oleh para target pembaca yang telah menjadi target penulis. / The culinary industry is one of the industries that continues to increase in industry. This can be seen by the emergence of new innovative products that are continuously offered to the public. The existence of innovation in the culinary industry provides a trend that attracts people's attention. One dish that is becoming a trend is croffle, which is a type of pastry that combines two types of snacks that have been known for a long time, namely croissants and waffles. The existence of this combination has its own uniqueness because it provides a crunchy and soft texture because they are made from croissant dough and have a shape resembling a waffle produced by using a waffle maker. Later, this dish was found to be very popular with teenagers as well as adults. Therefore, the author decided to make a book about croffles entitled Let's Get to Know Croffle to be read by the target readers who have become the author's target.
