Abstract

Latar belakang: Patient Safety merupakan tanggung jawab semua tenaga kesehatan terutama tim bedah di area ruang operasi. Untuk mencegah terjadinya kesalahan dalam tindakan pembedahan dalam mewujudkan patien safety maka diterapkan metode time out sebelum dilakukan pembedahan. Data yang diperoleh dari kamar bedah SHKJ menunjukan pelaksanaan Time out tidak mencapai 100% sesuai dengan sasaran mutu kamar bedah SHKJ. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendapatkan gambaran persepsi dokter dan perawat tentang pelaksanaan time out di kamar operasi Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif non eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah dokter dan perawat di ruang operasi Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk dengan tehnik pengambilan sample secara non random total sampling untuk 30 orang perawat dan 18 orang dokter dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti berdasarkan tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini. Analisa data: Analisa data menggunakan sistem komputerisasi SPSS Hasil : Didapatkan data gambaran persepsi dokter dan perawat adalah baik terhadap definisi kegiatan time out di kamar operasi 56.3%, tujuan pelaksanaan time out 50%, prosedur time out 52.1% dan pelaksanaan time out berdasarkan kebijakan sasaran mutu 50 % / Background : Patient Safety is the responsibility of all health workers especially in the areas of surgical team operating room. To prevent errors in surgical patien safety in realizing the time-out method, applied prior to surgery. Data obtained from the operating room shows the execution SHKJ Time out does not reach 100% in accordance with quality objectives SHKJ operating room. Purpose : This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of physicians and nurses about the implementation of the Time Out relating to Patient Safety in the operating room Kebun Jeruk Siloam Hospital. Methods: This study uses non-experimental descriptive quantitative method.The population in this study were doctors and nurses in the operating room Siloam Hospital Kebon Jeruk with sampling technique is non-random total sampling for 30 of nurses and 18 the doctor use a purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire designed by the researchers. Data analysis: Data were analyzed with a computerized system SPSS. Result : The data result of research found that description of perceptions doctors and nurses 50%, time out procedures is 52.1% and implementation of time out based on the policy target quality is 50%.
