Abstract
Peningkatan populasi masyarakat membuat permintaan terhadap makanan dan minuman semakin banyak dan beragam. Tipe makanan dan gaya pelayanan restoran terus berkembang dan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang semakin banyak dan beragam tersebut. Adanya kesamaan pada karakteristik bahan-bahan yang digunakan dalam masakan Yunani dengan bahan-bahan masakan Italia dan masakan Indonesia yang sudah cukup banyak diterima oleh masyarakat Indonesia disertai dengan jumlah restoran Yunani yang masih sedikit di daerah DKI Jakarta terutama di daerah Jakarta Barat serta adanya persentase pengeluaran untuk makanan dan minuman di daerah Jakarta Barat yang tinggi menunjukkan adanya peluang bisnis untuk membuka restoran Yunani di daerah Jakarta Barat. Berdasarkan beberapa pertimbangan diatas, penulis membuat studi kelayakan bisnis restoran Yunani bernama Areté Greek Food di daerah Jakarta Barat, tepatnya di Ruko Sixth Avenue Blok J5A No.18, Jalan Raya Citra Garden 6, Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat.
