The development of information technology in the field of application-based online transportation is sufficient to support community activities. High public enthusiasm for the use of the transportation is an opportunity for the service provider companies to control the market and create a major obstacle to others competitor, enter into the market. The determination of online transportation rates in Indonesia is often not in accordance with applicable regulations and is indicated by predatory pricing practices so that it is considered less able to provide legal protection for other business actors. Article 20 of Law Number 5 of 1999 concerning the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition actually regulates the prohibition of monopolistic practices and the practice of selling at a loss (predatory pricing) to hinder business competition, in this case including the determination of online transportation tariffs. However, in practice, business actors providing online transportation services often do not follow the applicable rules, making it difficult for other business actors to compete and of course harming consumers. Online transportation business actors others actually have the right to obtain legal protection, legal certainty and justice in running their business. This research is normative legal research with an empirical approach and uses qualitative analysis in analyzing and interpreting data from library materials and other normative materials. The results of the study indicate that the regulation of online transportation fare setting has actually been clearly and adequately regulated, but the implementation of law enforcement in the form of strict sanctions has not been fully implemented. The participation of the Business Competition Supervisory Commission needs to be increased in supervising business actors in the field of online transportation services in order to achieve legal protection, legal certainty and justice for other online transportation business actors.
