Abstract

Kinerja guru yang efektif dan efisien akan menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, yaitu lulusan yang berdaya guna dan berhasil guna sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru harus senantiasa ditingkatkan dengan segala daya dan upaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, disiplin, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Metode survei menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 28 guru SMA Yaspenda Asahan yang merupakan populasi. Model analisis PLS-SEM dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SmartPLS 3.0. Dari hasil analisis dan pengujian data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,609, 2) Disiplin berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,287, dan 3) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien jalur 0,166. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan kompetensi, disiplin, dan motivasi kerja. Kontribusi penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan dan masukan kepada manajemen SMA Yaspenda Asahan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui kompetensi, disiplin, dan motivasi kerja. / Effective and efficient teacher performance will produce quality human resources, namely graduates who are efficient and effective in accordance with the goals that have been set. Therefore, the performance of teachers must always be improved with all the power and effort. This study aims to analyze the effect of competencies, discipline, and work motivation on teacher’s performance. The survey method using quantitative approach is employed with a sample of 28 teachers at SMA Yaspenda Asahan, which constitutes the population. PLS-SEM analysis model was conducted using SmartPLS 3.0. From the analysis result and test, it can be concluded that: 1) Competencies have a positive influence on teacher performance with a path coefficient value of 0.609, 2) Discipline has a positive influence on teacher performance with a path coefficient value of 0.287, and 3) Work motivation has a positive influence on teacher performance with a path coefficient 0.166. This proves that teacher’s performance can be improved by increasing competencies, discipline, and work motivation. Contribution of this study can provide input to SMA Yaspenda Asahan management to improve the teachers’ performance through competencies, discipline, and work motivation.
