Abstract
Interaksi siswa dalam pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting karena merupakan landasan belajar siswa. Metode pembelajaran yang benar dapat memecahkan masalah yang menghambat siswa dalam belajar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa di Kelas VI SD ABC Jakarta Barat adalah kurangnya inisiatif dalam proses pembelajaran dan lemahnya kemampuan berpikir siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan semangat dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SD ABC VI Jakarta Barat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) yang diyakini dapat meningkatkan semangat dan berpikir kritis melalui tahapan yang tepat. Prosedur. Pelaksanaan STAD dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan 14 siswa dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan semangat dan berpikir kritis siswa Kelas VI SD ABC Jakarta Barat./Student interaction in learning becomes very important because it is the foundation of student learning. The right learning method can solve the problems that hinder the students in their learning activities. The problems faced by the Grade VI students of SD ABC in West Jakarta are the lack of initiatives in the learning processes and the weak thinking skills of the students. This study aims to increase the student interaction and critical thinking skills of the Grade VI students of SD ABC in West Jakarta by using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) type of the cooperative learning model, which is believed to be able to increase the student interaction and critical thinking skills by applying the right procedures. The implementation of the STAD was carried out using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model that involved 14 students and was carried out in two cycles. The results have indicated that the application of the STAD type of cooperative learning model could increase the student interaction and critical thinking skills of the Grade VI students of SD ABC in West Jakarta.
