Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah mempengaruhi banyak aspek terhadap kehidupan manusia di seluruh dunia, salah satunya adalah kegiatan belajar mengajar di fakultas kedokteran. Social distancing telah menjadi strategi yang paling efektif dalam meminimalisir peyebaran COVID-19. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran di fakultas kedokteran seperti lecture, problem-based learning, sesi clinical skills, bahkan pelaksanaan ujian pun dilakukan secara online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui korelasi online learning terhadap indeks prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa fakultas kedokeran Universitas Pelita Harapan. Rancangan penelitian yang dipilih yaitu analitik komparatif kategorik berpasangan dengan metode Case Control dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) semester 3 mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan angkatan 2018 dan 2019 dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 90 mahasiswa angkatan 2018 dan 90 mahasiswa angkatan 2019 di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik Non-Probability sampling dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Terdapat penurunan performa akademis yang ditandai dengan penurunan IPK terhadap mahasiswa angkatan 2019 yang menjalani online learning dan tidak ada pengaruh antara jenis kelamin dengan IPK mahasiswa. / The COVID-19 pandemic has affected several aspects towards human life around the world, one of which is the teaching and learning activity at medical faculties. Social distancing has become the most effective strategy to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, studies around the medical faculties such as lectures, problem-based learning, clinical skills sessions, as well as exams are conducted online. The aim of this research is to know the correlation of online learning towards the grade point average of student of the medical faculty. The research design that is used in this thesis/study is categorical comparative analytic paired with the Case Control method using secondary data that is obtained from semester 3 Grade Point Average (GPA) scores from 2018 and 2019 medical students of Universitas Pelita Harapan with the population of 90 students from both years. The sampling method used in this study is the Non-Probability sampling technique with the Purposive Sampling method. There is a decrease in academic performance which is marked by a decrease in the GPA of 2019 class students who undergo online learning and there is no effect between gender and students GPA.
