Abstract
Plants are important living things that exists on earth. There are many benefits from a plant, for example, become clothing, food and shelter for humans. Many humans do not plant crops in their homes because of inadequate factors such as temperature conditions, and do not have time to care the plants. In this thesis, plants will be grown with automatic control methods with a microcontrollers. By using a microcontroller that has been programmed to do human work in treating plants such as watering, providing the ideal temperature by heating it with heating lamps and also providing vital information through the web server about the environment where the plants are, it is expected to help humans grow plants in their homes with little human intervention. The final result of system design to help plant growth have been achieved as expected. Plants planted in the system, grows better and get better results as well as more fresh flowers and leaves than plants planted outside the home or inside the house./ Tanaman merupakan mahluk hidup yang penting yang ada di bumi. Banyak manfaat dari sebuah tanaman contohnya menjadi sandang, pangan dan papan bagi manusia. Manusia banyak yang tidak menanam tanaman di tempat tinggalnya dikarenakan faktor tempat yang tidak memadai seperti kondisi suhu, serta tidak mempunyai waktu untuk merawat. Dalam skripsi ini, tanaman akan ditumbuhkan dengan metode pengontrolan otomatis dengan microcontroller. Dengan mengunakan microcontroller yang telah diprogram untuk melakukan pekerjaan manusia dalam merawat tanaman seperti menyiram, memberikan suhu ideal dengan memanaskannya dengan lampu pemanas dan juga memberikan informasi vital melalui web server mengenai lingkungan tempat tanaman tersebut, diharapkan dapat membantu manusia dalam menumbuhkan tanaman di tempat tinggalnya dengan sedikit campur tangan manusia yang merawatnya. Hasil akhir dari perancangan sistem untuk membantu pertumbuhan tanaman sudah tercapai sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Tanaman yang ditanam pada sistem, berhasil tumbuh lebih baik dan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik juga seperti bunga dan daun yang lebih banyak dan segar daripada tanaman yang ditanam di luar rumah maupun yang di dalam rumah.
