Abstract
Bean sprouts is a type of vegetable which grows by being placed in a growing media and watered. these days there are lots of techniques to cultivate bean sprouts, but the watering part requires the help of human which makes it less efficient, because there are problems that comes with this such as the bean sprouts being forgotten to be watered and aside from that it is also hard to harvest bean sprouts without the tail because the cutting process is done one by one. In this final project, bean sprouts will be grown supported by an automatic watering system in a greenhouse, which is specifically made to monitor the condition of the bean sprouts, using technologies such as light detector sensor, temperature and humidity sensor. The result of this final project is to cultivate bean sprouts successfully cultivated with their length reach 3 until 5 cm, without losing their color in the process, while also being watered by an automatic watering system so that they’re able to be harvested without their tail./ Tauge atau kecambah kacang hijau merupakan jenis sayuran yang tumbuh dengan diletakkan dalam atau di atas media tanam dan disiram dengan air. Saat ini banyak teknik untuk membudidayakan tauge namun penyiraman masih membutuhkan manusia saat waktu penyiraman dan sulit untuk mendapat tauge tanpa bagian ekor karena pemotongan dilakukan per satuan tauge. Penyiraman dengan bantuan manusia dapat menyebabkan masalah seperti lupa penyiraman. Dalam tugas akhir ini, tauge akan ditumbuhkan dengan sistem penyiraman otomatis dalam sebuah rumah kaca yang telah dibuat untuk memonitor kondisi tauge selama proses budidaya seperti sensor pendeteksi cahaya serta sensor suhu dan kelembaban untuk menentukan tempat budidaya, sensor ketinggian air untuk mengukur sisa air yang telah terpakai, serta sensor pendeteksi air untuk mendeteksi air yang keluar dari dalam media tanam. Hasil akhir dari tugas akhir ini untuk membudidayakan tauge dengan panjang tiga sampai lima sentimeter, tidak mengalami perubahan warna, disiram dengan penyiraman air secara otomatis, dan tauge bisa dipanen tanpa ekor.
