Abstract

PT Wave Consulting Indonesia is a digital agency company that provides cloud-based ERP products called Vontis. This product is more focused on tracking inventory, so the inventory module is more complex compared to the other module. The internship activity is conducted as one of the team from Quality Assurance who has the tasked to test Vontis application. Testing is done by black-box testing method and by manual testing which includes regression testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. In the undertaking internship, the test is carried out by following the Vontis test scenario that has been made before by the Quality Assurance’s team at PT Wave Consulting Indonesia and the test scenario is divided into several modules, so the test is done by following the steps according with the test cases listed so the results will be accroding to the expected result which is listed there. If there are bugs or error, they will all be gathered and create an issuse by using Jira Atlassian then later on will be submitted to the Developer’s team. The results of manual testing testing is there will be no major bug and show stopper on Vontis, so at the when Vontis is being used there will be no longer a bug that appears or show stopper that can inhibit the workflow of Vontis users./ PT Wave Consulting Indonesia merupakan perusahaan digital agency yang menyediakan produk ERP berbasis cloud yang dinamakan Vontis. Produk ini lebih memfokuskan terhadap tracking inventory, sehingga modul inventory lebih kompleks dibandingkan dengan modul lainnya. Kegiatan magang dilakukan sebagai salah satu tim dari Quality Assurance yang bertugas untuk menguji aplikasi Vontis tersebut. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode black-box testing dan dengan cara manual testing yang dimana sudah termasuk regression testing, end-to-end testing, dan user acceptance testing. Dalam kegiatan magang yang dijalankan, pengujian dilakukan dengan mengikuti test scenario Vontis yang telah dibuat sebelumnya oleh tim Quality Assurance pada PT Wave Consulting Indonesia dan test scenario tersebut dibagi atas beberapa module, sehingga pengujian yang dilakukan hanya menguti langkah sesuai dengan test case yang tertera agar hasilnya sesuai dengan result yang diharapkan. Jika terjadi bug ataupun error, akan dibuatkan issue dengan menggunakan Jira Atlassian dan nantinya akan diserahkan kepada tim Developer. Hasil dari pengujian manual testing adalah bug major dan show stopper pada Vontis sudah tidak ada, sehingga pada saat Vontis digunakan sudah tidak ada lagi bug yang muncul atau show stopper yang dapat menghambat alur kerja dari pengguna Vontis.
