Abstract

Society have been experiencing shifts of pattern along with the global development in this modern era. In what so called informational society, the existence of human's marvels in technological area become a primary sign of this era. However, not each and every member of the society have the capabilities to manage informations in a good and solid manners. In this era, the existence of information system might be useful in various activities of an organisation. Information system can trigger automatisation which helps organisation in improving their operational accuracy and effectiveness. Currently, PB Djarum (a sports organisation) is still using manual approach in managing demands and dividing athlete's primary needs, budget management, and calculating organisation' assets. PB Djarum using a hardcopy forms or email forms in conducting their operations. This manual approach is cost a lot of time and less effective compare to the modern approach that utilize information system and other similar technology. This is also creating a big possiblity for human error to influencing the process itself. Due to above-mentioned situation, an organisation such as PB Djarum needs a system such as My PB Djarum that use prototyping methods and using PHP & HTML as the programming languages, MySQL as database storage system, UML version 2.0 as the modelling with class diagram use case diagram, and activity diagram. The end result of this final project is a web based My PB Djarum system that can help athletes, coaches, admins, managers, and chiefs in managing athlete's demands & needs, managing budget and inventory, and monitoring athlete's progression./ Seiring perkembangan global di era informasi, keberadaan masyarakat mengalami pergeseran pola yang dinamis. Kehadiran hasil karya manusia di bidang teknologi informasi menjadi karakteristik dimana masyarakat di era sekarang dikenal sebagai masyarakat informasional. Akan tetapi belum semua masyarakat mampu mengelola informasi dengan baik. Pada zaman ini, sistem informasi dapat mempermudah kegiatankegiatan yang ada dalam sebuah organisasi. Dengan adanya sistem informasi, prosesproses yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual dapat dijalankan secara otomatis, sehingga meningkatkan akurasi dan mengurangi waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menjalankan proses-proses tersebut. Kegiatan mengelola permintaan dan pembagian kebutuhan utama atlit, mengelola anggaran dan menghitung inventori di PB Djarum saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan sarana e-mail maupun form hardcopy, di mana banyaknya jumlah permohonan menyebabkan proses tersebut menjadi lambat dan tidak efisien. Proses validasi permohonan-permohonan tersebut juga rentan terhadap human error. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan sistem My PB Djarum yang dapat memfasilitasi kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut. Pembuatan tugas akhir ini memiliki fokus untuk mengembangkan sistem My PB Djarum menggunakan metode prototyping. Kemudian untuk bahasa pemrogramannya menggunakan PHP dan HTML. Lalu sistem penyimpanan basis data yang digunakan adalah MySQL dan untuk pemodelannya menggunakan UML versi 2.0 dengan class diagram, use case diagram, dan activity diagram. Hasil akhir dari tugas akhir ini adalah sistem My PB Djarum berbasis web yang dapat memfasilitasi atlit, pelatih, admin, manajer dan ketua dalam mengelola permintaan dan pembagian kebutuhan atlit, mengelola anggaran dan inventori barang serta melihat performa dan perkembangan atlit.
