Abstract

Sejak adanya pandemi Covid-19, hobi membuat keramik merupakan salah satu hobi yang diminati di Indonesia. Hal ini membuat adanya potensi pengembangan dalam teknik pembuatan keramik, salah satunya adalah teknik impressing. Teknik impressing merupakan teknik yang umum digunakan tetapi, masih jarang ditemukan penjualan alat khusus untuk teknik impressing pada keramik di Indonesia. Eksplorasi alat dimulai dari eksperimen bahan stamp yang umum digunakan hingga cara pembuatan stamp yang tidak umum digunakan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menemukan bahan serta cara produksi stamp yang efisien dan dapat menghasilkan tekstur yang maksimal. Setelah itu, penelitian ini dilanjutkan dengan wawancara, survei, analisa trend, dan QFD. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan koleksi produk stamp yang telah melewati beberapa eksperimen dan beberapa koleksi produk keramik yang dihasilkan menggunakan stamp yang telah diproduksi. Walaupun penggunaan teknik impressing merupakan teknik yang umum digunakan, tetapi masih banyak cara produksi ataupun bahan serta jenis alat yang dapat dieksplorasi lebih dalam. / Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the hobby of making ceramics become one of the hobbies that are in demand in Indonesia. This makes a potential for development in ceramic techniques, such as impressing. Impressing is commonly used in pottery, but it is still rare to find a seller of these tools in Indonesia. The exploration starts from experiments with commonly used stamp materials such as wood, bisque, and 3d printed PLA. The objective is to find the best materials and the most efficient stamp production. After that, the study was followed by interviews, surveys, trend analysis, and QFD. This study resulted in a collection of stamp products that have passed several experiments and several collections of ceramic products. Although the impressing techniques are commonly used, there are still many ways of production, materials, and types of tools that can be explored.
