Abstract
Angka kelahiran anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Tercatat angka kelahiran anak dengan ASD meningkat dari 1:150 kelahiran pada tahun 2000, menjadi 1:44 kelahiran pada tahun 2017. Peningkatan angka kelahiran anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder tidak disertai dengan pengadaan fasilitas pendukung seperti sarana pendidikan, terapi, dan fasilitas-fasilitas pendukung lainnya yang memenuhi standar kesehatan, keamanan dan kesejahteraan dari pengguna, baik secara ergonomi, antropometri maupun psikologisnya. Penulisan ini akan berfokus terhadap analisis peran ergonomi terhadap desain intervensi sensory garden sekolah PRESIDENT Special Needs Center, dimana di dalam nya terdapat fasilitas-fasilitas, seperti area gardening, area makan, area memasak dan area sensory playground. Penulisan ini akan bersifat deskriptif analisis, menggunakan parameter ergonomi health, safety, welfare. Penulisan ini akan menghasilkan strategi desain untuk perancangan dan pembangunan area utilitas bagi pengguna Autism Spectrum Disorder, yang dalam kontek penelitian ini adalah fasilitas sensory garden bagi pengguna dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The birth rate of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder continues to increase from year to year. The birth rate of children with ASD increased from 1:150 births in 2000, to 1:44 births in 2017. The increase in the birth rate of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder are not provided by supporting facilities such as educational facilities, therapies, and other supporting facilities that meet the health, safety, and well-being standards of users, both ergonomically, anthropometrically and psychologically. This paper will focus on analyzing the role of ergonomics on the design of sensory garden interventions of the PRESIDENT Special Needs Center school, where there are facilities, such as gardening areas, dining areas, cooking areas and sensory playground areas. This writing will be descriptive analysis, using ergonomic parameter's health, safety, welfare. This writing will result in a design strategy for the design and construction of utility areas for Autism Spectrum Disorder users, which in this research context is a sensory garden facility for users with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
