Di era yang serba digital ini, website menjadi sebuah media yang krusial bagi sebuah perusahaan sebagai wadah informasi bagi para pelanggannya, terutama bagi perusahaan penyedia jasa akomodasi seperti hotel maupun villa. Karena selain digunakan sebagai sumber informasi, sebuah website juga dapat berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi antara sebuah perusahaan dengan para pelanggannya. Entitas yang digunakan dalam proyek perancangan ini yaitu Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, bagian dari InterContinental Hotels Group yang mengangkat konsep a neighborhood story. Dari analisis yang dilakukan terhadap existing website dari entitas, masih dapat ditemukan beberapa permasalahan desain, terutama pada aspek visual clarity yang menyebabkan kurang optimalnya penyampaian pesan atau informasi kepada audiens. Melalui proyek ini, penulis merancang ulang tampilan website hotel yang baru dengan menggunakan metodologi perancangan Bruce Hannington dan Bella Martin, serta memvisualisasikan tampilan website interface baru yang lebih intuitif dan sederhana melalui sebuah prototipe Figma. / In this digital era, website is considered as one of the most important media used by companies to provide information for their customers, especially for accommodation service companies such as hotel and villa. Aside from being an information source, a website can be used as a communication channel between a company and their customers. The entity used in this project is Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, part of InterContinental Hotels Group which has “a neighbourhood story” as their concept. There are several design problems found through the analysis carried out regarding the entity, specifically about the visual clarity, which caused the information delivery to the audience to be not optimal. Through this project, the author redesigned the website using Bruce Hannington and Bella Martin’s design methodology, and visualizing the new, simpler, and more intuitive website interface through a Figma prototype.
