Abstract
Video musik merupakan hal yang umum di kehidupan sehari-hari dimana hal tersebut merupakan salah satu konten yang paling banyak dicari oleh orang-orang setiap kali mereka menggunakan aplikasi serta website streaming. Melalui video musik, penonton dapat meningkatkan emosi yang dirasakan selain mendengarkan lagu. Pengetahuan akan fakta tersebut sangat membantu dalam penyampaian pesan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap depresi dan quarter life crisis. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan berbagai metode dan prinsip seperti metode Aaron Blaise dalam merancang karakter, perancangan alur menggunakan Freytag’s pyramid, prinsip animasi, gestalt, teori warna Goethe, dan psikologi warna yang disampaikan oleh Johannes Itten sehingga dapat menghasilkan sebuah klip video musik. Klip video musik tersebut menerapkan dua jenis konsep visual yang diantaranya adalah pressure dan repetitive yang dapat ditemukan dengan jelas pada klip video musik. Agar dapat lebih mudah menyentuh emosi dari penonton, alur dari klip video musik memiliki kaitan yang erat dengan lagu sehingga dapat menghindari adanya makna yang lain. Melalui tugas akhir ini, terdapat harapan kepada semua yang membaca dan menyaksikan klip video musik agar memperoleh manfaat baik yang diantaranya berupa peningkatan kesadaran terhadap isu depresi, konten hiburan, serta referensi pada karya-karya kedepannya.

Music video is not something foreign in everyday life as it become something that people search whenever they open streaming websites. Through music video, people can enhance the emotion they feel beside listening to the song. Knowing this fact will help the process of conveying messages to increase awareness of depression and quarter life crisis. The final project uses various methods and principles such as Aaron Blaise’s character design method, Freytag’s pyramid, animation principles, gestalt, Goethe’s theory of colours, and Johannes Itten’s psychology of colours to produce an animated music video. The animated music video is using two kinds of visual concept such as pressure and repetitive that are visible throughout the entire music video. To reach viewer’s emotion easily, the plot is connected to the song, so it won’t be interpreted as something else. With this project, there are many hopes to everyone who read and watch the animated music video will gain some benefit such as raising awareness against depression, entertainment, and reference for future works.
