Abstract

Seorang PR atau public relations dari sebuah perusahaan memiliki peran untuk meningkatkan pengenalan masyarakat akan suatu produk. PT. Global Jet Millenial berdiri pada bulan Januari tahun 2020. PT Global Jet Millenial adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang online retail yang berfokus pada bidang fashion. Salah satu brand yang berdiri di bawah PT Global Jet Millenial adalah brand Zode.id. Pemagang diberi tanggung jawab untuk mengurus dan mengelola akun social media khususnya social media Instagram Zode. Pemagang berperan sebagai seorang MPR atau komunikator Zode.id yang berhadapan dengan komunikannya yaitu konsumen atau masyarakat dengan melakukan kegiatan seperti live streaming di official account Zode dan approaching influencer-influencer yang akan di-endorse melalui direct message Instagram dan email. Pemagang mempelajari banyak cara mengelola akun media sosial dari sebuah perusahaan, mengenal orang-orang baru dan lingkungan baru, serta mempelajari bagaimana sebuah perusahaan mengatasi kritikan masyarakat terhadap perusahaan dan produk perusahaan. Social Media Specialist berperan untuk mengelola akun media sosial perusahaan, mempromosikan website perusahaan, dan mendukung kegiatan penjualan perusahaan. // A PR or known as Public Relations of a company has a role to increase public’s awareness about a product. PT Global Jet Millenial was established in January 2020. PT Global Jet Millennial is a company engaged in online retail that focuses on fashion. One of the brands standing under PT Global Jet Millenial is called Zode.id. Throughout the internship, the intern was given responsibility to manage social media accounts especially Zode’s Instagram account on social media. Intern act as Zode.id’s communicator who deal with customers as a PR by carrying out activities such as live streaming on Zode’s official accounts and also approaching influencers who will be endorsed to promote the brand. Working in Zode.id results in learning many ways to manage social media accounts of a certain company, adapting in a new social environment and learning how a company deal with the public. Social media specialist plays a role in managing the company’s social media accounts, supporting company sales activities.
