Indonesia's e-commerce market has grown dramatically in the past five years, upending the long-held view of local venture capital firms and companies that the country underperforms its regional rivals. For the foreign e-commerce companies, it’s quite important for them to choose a favorable entry mode to enter Indonesia market therefore it’s a significant issue for research. The research figures out that the entry mode majorly influenced in two aspects of factors which are internal and external factors. This research illustrates this point through a case study of Jingdong’s entry mode selection in Indonesia. Besides that, the SWOT analysis uses for researcher to have a deeper understanding of the factors influences on the entry mode choice.
