Abstract

Pada penelitian ilmu sosial , Netnografi telah menjadi metode penelitian yang diterima secara luas . Ini telah digunakan untuk menangani berbagai topik mulai dari budaya hingga identitas, hubungan sosial, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Netnografi dapat didefinisikan secara luas sebagai pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yang mengadaptasi teknik etnografi tradisional untuk mempelajari "jaringan”. pelecehan seksual pada dasarnya merupakan kenyataan yang ada dalam masyarakat dewasa ini bahwa tindak kekerasan terhadap perempuan banyak dan seringkali terjadi di mana-mana khususnya perempuan yang seringkali menjadi korban dalam pelecehan. Media sosial memungkinkan penggunanya untuk melakukan banyak hal, termasuk menyebarkan informasi ke banyak orang hanya dengan satu klik. netizen telah menggunakan sosial media seperti Twitter selain itu netizen dapat terhubung untuk menyuarakan pendapat mereka secara bebas dimana mereka dapat berpartisipasi aktif berbagi komentar, pemikiran, pendapat, dan perspektif mereka dalam diskusi tentang yang paling netizen perhatikan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian dalam menjawab permasalahan yang ada dimasyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian analisis tematik Braun, V. and Clarke, V. untuk menganalisis tematik komentar netizen dengan metodologi netnography, menggunakan teori mute group theory dari Cheris Kramarae melihat dari sisi feminisme, gender dan budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari analisis tematik pada setiap thread tentang pelecehan seksual terhadap korban dan pelaku ditemukan enam tematik terdiri dari dua tematik yang mendukung yaitu empati, simpati, negatif komentar dengan blaming, antipati juga penghakiman terhadap pelaku./ In social science research, netnography has become a widely accepted research method. It has been used to tackle topics ranging from culture to identity, social relations and community empowerment. Netnography can be broadly defined as a qualitative research approach that adapts traditional ethnographic techniques to study "networks". Sexual harassment is basically a reality in today's society that acts of violence against women are many and often occur everywhere, especially women who are often victims of harassment. Social media allows users to do many things, including spreading information to many people with just one click. netizens have been using social media such as Twitter besides that netizens can connect to voice their opinions freely where they can actively participate in sharing their comments, thoughts, opinions, and perspectives in discussions about what netizens care about the most. Therefore, research is needed to answer the problems that exist in the community. Researchers use a qualitative approach with thematic analysis research methods Braun, V. and Clarke, V. To analyze the thematic comments of netizens with the netnography methodology, using the mute group theory theory from Cheris Kramarae from the perspective of feminism, gender and culture. The results showed that from the thematic analysis in each thread about sexual harassment against victims and perpetrators, six thematics were found consisting of two supporting thematics, namely empathy, sympathy, negative comments with blaming, antipathy as well as judgment against the perpetrators.
