Abstract

In this life, in reality the performance of teachers in schools still needs to be developed. Based on the results of a light discussion with a nun who was in charge of staffing at Regina Pacis Middle School in Jakarta, the author learned that about 25% of the school teachers still did not meet the criteria in terms of performance. He really hopes for an increase in teacher performance, especially at Regina Pacis Jakarta school at the junior high school level. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, and work motivation on teacher performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with simple and multiple regression methods. Measurements were carried out by surver to 30 respondents who then tested the validity and reliability. Questionnaire results were then analyzed.From the results of this study it can be proven that the teacher's emotional intelligence, principal transformational leadership, and work motivation have a positive effect on teacher performance. / Dalam kehidupan ini, pada kenyataannya kinerja guru di sekolah masih perlu dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi ringan dengan seorang seorang biarawati yang mengurusi kepegawaian di SMP Regina Pacis Jakarta, penulis mengetahui bahwa sekitar 25% dari guru sekolah tersebut masih belum memenuhi kriteria dalam hal kinerja. Beliau sangat mengharapkan adanya peningkatan kinerja guru khususnya di sekolah Regina Pacis Jakarta pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kepemimpinan transformasional, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuatitatif dengan metode regresi sederhana dan berganda. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan surver kepada 30 orang responden yang kemudian diujikan validitas dan realibilitasnya. Hasil kuisioner kemudian dianalisis. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa kecerdasan emosional guru, kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru.
