Abstract

Pihak yang terlibat dalam hal ini adalah Migrant CARE dan International Labour Organization, keduanya memiliki peranan masing-masing dalam melakukan diplomasi untuk dapat memulangkan Pekerja Migran Indonesia yang terlibat kasus hukuman mati di Arab Saudi./ Indonesian Migrant Workers are the main contributor to the country's foreign exchange which is quite high, where almost every year the country gets foreign exchange obtained from Indonesian Migrant Workers in the figure of US $ 8,000 million per year. With these figures we can conclude that Indonesian Migrant Workers have a fairly high role in the Indonesian economy. However, the presence of Indonesian Migrant Workers in Saudi Arabia is often involved in cases of the death penalty, which among other reasons is the self-protection action taken by Indonesian Migrant Workers for acts committed by their employers or superiors in their work, which in the end makes them trapped in death penalty cases in Saudi Arabia. The Indonesian government is always present to protect and ensure the safety of Indonesian Migrant Workers who work anywhere, including in Saudi Arabia. Through the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Riyadh and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Jeddah along with Indonesian diplomats who are in Saudi Arabia, they always try to protect and defend Indonesian Migrant Workers involved in death penalty cases (Qisas) through diplomatic efforts with the following efforts: extra effort to be able to bring back safely Indonesian Migrant Workers involved in death row in Saudi Arabia. In carrying out diplomatic efforts, of course, the Indonesian government is not only assisted by government agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Manpower, and BP2MI. Non-state organizations also have an important role in conducting diplomacy to protect and defend Indonesian Migrant Workers involved in death penalty cases in Saudi Arabia. The parties involved in this case are Migrant CARE and the International Labor Organization, both of which have their respective roles in conducting diplomacy to be able to repatriate Indonesian Migrant Workers involved in death penalty cases in Saudi Arabia.
