Abstract

In today’s world of education, the responsibilities of school employees have become more complicated. As a result, an employee’s organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) may become lower. OCB is an employee’s behavior that shows willingness to work beyond the organization’s expectations in order to positively benefit the school. The goal of this research was to determine whether employees’ OCB at Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) affected by different variables, such as workplace spirituality, job satisfaction, and affective commitment. This research involved 204 employees, including teachers, administrative staff, and leadership staff at Sekolah Pelita Harapan around Indonesia. Data was collected via a questionnaire that consists of 52 statement items which required staff to answer using a Likert scale. Data was analyzed using the SmartPLS application with the validity and reliability testing as convergent validity and discriminant validity. SmartPLS also showed the value of determinant coefficient and path coefficient of the effect of each variable. The results of this research showed that workplace spirituality and job satisfaction have a positive effect on an employee’s OCB while affective commitment does not have a significant effect on an employee’s OCB./Dalam dunia pendidikan di masa kini, tanggung jawab karyawan semakin kompleks. Hal ini dapat membuat sekiranya perilaku organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) menjadi rendah. OCB adalah perilaku karyawan yang melakukan hal-hal melebihi tanggung jawab yang dipercayakan dengan hasil positif yang menguntungkan organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku OCB karyawan di Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) dipengaruhi variabel-variabel eksogen, yaitu variabel workplace spirituality, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen afektif. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian adalah 204 karyawan yang terbagi dari para guru, tenaga administrasi dan tingkatan kepemimpinan dari sekolah-sekolah SPH yang tersebar di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari 52 item pernyataan dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Hipotesis penelitian menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS dengan analisis validitas dan reliabilitas dengan pengujian konvergen dan pengujian diskriminan. Hipotesis dengan aplikasi SmartPLS juga mengukur nilai koefisien determinan dan nilai jalur koefisien dari hubungan antara variabel. Hasil dari analisis ini mempelihatkan workplace spirituality dan kepuasan kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap OCB sedangkan komitmen afektif ditemukan tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap OCB.
