Abstract

It is defined as disruptive behavior, constant harassment, and being an inconvenience. Bullying without question would cause negative impacts such as anxiety, depression, trauma, academic achievement decrease, drug-alcohol abuse, and the most lethal impact is suicide. Seeing the many negative impacts caused by bullying, an ability that can help individuals to overcome this traumatic event is needed. This ability is called resilience. Parents also play an important role in developing their children’s resilience; because resilience is a capacity that develops in a positive relationship with the family. This has sparked the researcher’s interest in studying the impact of parental attachment on the resilience of adolescents who experienced bullying. This study is quantitative linear regression research. The result of this study indicate that attachment can affect resilience by 54,1%, R2 =0.292, with significant value of <.001. Which means, if children have attachment with their parents, it can predict resilience in children by 29,2%
