Abstract

Smartphone telah menjadi barang primer yang digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari manusia untuk memecahkan masalah dan mempermudah kegiatan sehari- hari. Selain itu, smartphone terus mengalami perkembangan yang pesat dan terus berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, akibat dari perkembangan tersebut, produsen smartphone bersaing dan menciptakan sangat banyak pilihan smartphone dari berbagai spesifikasi dan harga. Pemilihan smartphone dengan hanya melihat perbandingan spesifikasi dan harga akan menyulitkan pembeli yang awam dengan atribut smartphone, sehingga adanya perhitungan yang mampu menghasilkan suatu penilaian dengan perangkingan yang seimbang akan sangat membantu dalam pemilihan smartphone. Oleh karena permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk metode perhitungan pemilihan smartphone terbaik. Metode yang akan diterapkan untuk permasalahan di atas adalah metode SAW dan SMART. Pemilihan metode SAW dan SMART dikarenakan kedua metode tersebut merupakan metode yang berada didalam Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) yang merupakan suatu metode untuk melakukan perhitungan dengan beberapa alternatif dan atribut berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode tersebut memberikan hasil perangkingan teratas yang sama dan tingkat kesesuaian metode SMART 99.94% sedikit lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan metode SAW dengan hasil 99.92%. / Smartphones have become an important item in people's daily lives to solve problems and simplify their daily lives. In addition, smartphones continue to develop and evolve rapidly with technological advances. As a result of these developments, smartphone manufacturers are competing and creating different smartphones with different specifications and prices. Choosing a smartphone simply by comparing specifications and prices can be difficult for buyers unfamiliar with the characteristics of smartphones, so calculations that can be evaluated with a balanced ranking are very helpful when choosing a smartphone. Due to these problems, it is necessary to study how to calculate the best smartphone selection. The methods that apply to the above issues are the SAW and SMART methods. The choice of SAW and SMART methods is because both methods are included in Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), which is a method for performing calculations with multiple choices and different attributes. The results showed that both methods gave the same best results and that the suitability level of the 99.94% SMART method was slightly better than the SAW method with the 99.92% result.
