Abstract

Berkembangnya teknologi dalam bidang transportasi memudahkan orang dalam berpindah-pindah. Dalam pekerjaan ini dirancang Electronic Skateboard untuk dapat digunakan sebagai alat transportasi di mana penggunaannya cukup dilakukan dengan menekan tombol untuk dapat bergerak. Rancangan yang diusulkan ini menggunakan motor listrik sebagai penggerak dan electronic speed controller di bawah kendali Arduino sebagai kontrollernya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat respons dari electronic speed controller terhadap perintah dari Arduino dan bagaimana electronic speed controller akan meneruskan sinyalnya ke motor listrik agar dapat bergerak. Pekerjaan ini juga mengukur output electronic skateboard untuk dapat melihat laju dari electronic skateboard ketika sedang dikendarai. Untuk dapat mengamati keluaran digunakan osiloskop untuk mengamati bentuk dari sinyal keluaran electronic speed controller. Penelitian untuk mengetahui batasan dari skateboard juga dilakukan dengan mengukur kelajuan dari electronic skateboard dan juga mengatur laju dan arahnya untuk berbagai kondisi pembebanan. Hasil dari uji lapangan pada lintasan sejauh 15 m menujukkan bahwa electronic skateboard dapat mencapai 10km/jam sebagai laju puncaknya ketika berada dalam kondisi tidak ada pengendara. Kelajuan akan berkurang ketika terdapat pengendara yang lebih berat yaitu akan turun menjadi 6,9 km/jam pada beban seberat 90kg. Uji pengereman juga dicoba untuk dapat mengetahui seberapa cepat electronic skateboard akan berhenti dari kondisi top speednya. Pengujian lapangan menunjukkan bahwa waktu pengereman pada kondisi tanpa pengendara adalah 4,8 detik sejak tombol pengereman mulai ditekan. / The development of technology in the field of transportation makes it easier for people to relocate and move around. In this work, the Electronic Skateboard is designed to be used as a means of transportation easily where its use is simply done by pressing a button to be able to move without the need to spend excessive energy. This proposed design uses an electric motor as a driver and an electronic speed controller under the control of Arduino as the controller. This research was conducted to study the response of the electronic speed controller to commands from Arduino and how the electronic speed controller will forward the signal to the electric motor so that it can move. This work also measures the output of the electronic skateboard to be able to see the speed of the electronic skateboard while it is being ridden. To be able to observe the output, an oscilloscope is used to observe the shape of the output signal of the electronic speed controller. Research to determine the limits of skateboards is also carried out by measuring the speed of the electronic skateboard and also adjusting its speed and direction for various loading conditions. The results of field tests on a 15 m track show that the electronic skateboard can reach 10km/hour as its top speed when there is no rider. The speed will decrease when there is a heavier rider which will drop to 6.9 km/h at a load of 90kg. Braking tests were also tried to find out how quickly the electronic skateboard would stop from its top speed condition. Field testing shows that the braking time in no-driver conditions is 4.8 seconds from the moment the braking button is pressed.
