Abstract
Pada beberapa tahun terakhir ini banyak terjadi pemberhentian kerja secara massal. Terdapat sebanyak empat juta pekerja di Amerika yang berhenti dari pekerjaan mereka pada tahun 2021. Pemberhentian kerja tersebut dilakukan baik oleh laki-laki maupun perempuan. Hal ini mengakibatkan tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja perempuan menempati angka terendah sejak 1998. Hal ini juga dialami CV Matahari yang saat ini mengalami krisis karyawan. Terjadi
penurunan jumlah karyawan terutama pada karyawan perempuan. Salah satu alasan yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya pemberhentian kerja tersebut adalah rendahnya kualitas kehidupan kerja yang dimiliki para pekerja. Untuk dapat melihat perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan di CV Matahari dalam melihat kualitas kehidupan kerja mereka, maka diperlukan penelitian.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan secara langsung kepada karyawan di CV Matahari Semarang. Data yang didapat kemudian diuji normalitas dan homogenitasnya sehingga dapat dianalisis menggunakan independent sample t-test. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pada kualitas kehidupan kerja berdasarkan gender di CV Matahari, Semarang. / In the last few years, there have been many mass resignation on workers around the world. More
than four million workers in US resign in 2021. These resignation done by not only male workers,
but female as well. Because of this, female worker participation rate being the lowest since 1998.
This is also experienced by CV Matahari, which currently experiencing employee crisis. There
was a decrease in number of employees in CV matahari, especially female workers. One of the
reason that can lead to the work termination is the low quality of work life that the employee have.
Research is needed in order to see the differences between men and women at CV Matahari in
terms of their quality of work life.Data was collected using questionnaire that was distributed
directly at CV Matahari Semarang. The data that obtained were then tested for normality and
homogenity so that they could be analyzed using independent sample t-test to see differences on
quality of work life based on gender. From the result of the study, there is no difference in the
quality of work life based on gender at CV Matahari, Semarang.
