Abstract

The decrease of the employee performance which is reflected from the decline in sales of the CV. Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan cause by job description and work discipline. The theory used in this study is job description, work discipline and employee performance This research was conducted using quantitative, descriptive, and causal. The total of population and sample is 31 employee CV Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan. Data is collected by distributing questionnaires, interview and documentation. This research also the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test, determination and hypothesis test. The result of the hypothesis test shows that Job description and work discipline have partial and simultaneously influence towards Employee Performance on CV Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan. This research also passed the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test. Recommendations for the CV Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan can be improved by applying the job description in accordance with the position of the employee and provide rewards to employees. / Penurunan kinerja karyawan yang tercermin dari penurunan penjualan CV. Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan disebabkan oleh deskripsi pekerjaan dan disiplin kerja. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi pekerjaan, disiplin kerja dan kinerja karyawan Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, deskriptif, dan kausal. Jumlah populasi dan sampel adalah 31 karyawan CV Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda, uji determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa deskripsi pekerjaan dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada CV Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan. Penelitian ini juga lulus uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda. Rekomendasi untuk CV Bintang Jaya Sukses Medan dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan job description sesuai dengan posisi karyawan dan memberikan reward kepada karyawan.
