This research paper is written to examine the relationship between corporate governance and firm performance. The variable used in this research includes Return on Asset, Board size, CEO duality, Board compensation and Board ownership. For the data sampling, purposive sampling method is being used. In total of 50 manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2015-2017 are being studied and the total of 150 firm-years is being examined. To analyze the data for the hypothesis testing, OLS multiple regression analysis is used. The results driven from this research proves that board size, board duality, board compensation and board ownership has insignificant relationship with the Return on Asset.
