Abstract
Mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir rentan untuk melakukan
tindakan prokrastinasi. Prokrastinasi adalah perilaku penundaan untuk mengerjakan
dan menyelesaikan tugas sesuai dengan waktu yang telah direncanakan. Faktor
yang mempengaruhi prokrastinasi akademik diantaranya ialah kontrol diri dan
konformitas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri
dan konformitas dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang
mengerjakan tugas akhir. Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik, kontrol diri dan
konformitas dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,804; 0,770; 0,840. Subjek penelitian
adalah 100 orang mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan
prokrastinasi akademik dengan nilai (r = -0,378; p = 0,000), serta hubungan positif
yang signifikan antara konformitas dan prokrastinasi akademik dengan nilai (r =
0,551; p = 0,000). Ada hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan konformitas
dengan nilai (r = -0,286; p = 0,004). Kontrol diri memberikan sumbangan efektif
sebanyak 14% dan konformitas sebesar 30% terhadap prokrastinasi akademik,
kemudian sisanya sebesar 56% disebabkan oleh variabel lain. Hal tersebut
menunjukkan bahwa perilaku prokrastinasi akademik dapat dikurangi dengan
meningkatkan kontrol diri dan juga mengurangi perilaku konformitas / Students who are working on their final project are vulnerable to take
procrastination. Procrastination is delaying behavior to do and complete the task in
accordance with the planned time. Factors that influence academic procrastination
include self-control and conformity. This study aims to determine the relationship
between self-control and conformity with academic procrastination in students who
carry out their final project. This quantitative research was conducted using data
collection techniques using academic procrastination, self-control and conformity
scales with a reliability of 0.804; 0.770; 0.840. The research subjects were 100
students who were working on their final project. The results showed that a
significant negative correlation between self-control and academic procrastination
with grades (r = -0,378; p = 0,000), as well as a significant positive relationship
between conformity and academic procrastination with grades (r = 0.551; p =
0,000). There is a negative correlation between self-control and conformity to the
value (r = -0.286; p = 0.004). Self-control contributes effectively as much as 14%
and 30% conformity to academic procrastination, then the remaining 56% is caused
by other variables. This shows that academic procrastination behavior can be
reduced by increasing self-control and also reducing conformity behavior
