Abstract
Rasisme merupakan salah satu isu yang telah berlangsung lama di Amerika, bahkan sampai saat ini. Rasisme yang terjadi di Amerika salah satunya adalah rasisme terhadap orang Asia. Pada tahun 2020, rasisme terhadap orang Asia meningkat dikarenakan pandemi Covid-19. Melihat tindak kejahatan dan rasisme terhadap orang Asia meningkat, muncul lah gerakan sosial stop asian hate. Salah satu artis yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam gerakan ini adalah grup K-Pop BTS. Untuk itulah, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat lebih lanjut peran BTS dalam kampanye stop asian hate.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruksivisme. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan data primer beurpa dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan, serta data sekunder, yaitu wawancara mendalam kepada informan. Wawancara dilakukan kepada para pakar fandom, K-Pop, Rasisme dan Isu di Amerika.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran BTS dalam kampanye Stop Asian Hate adalah sebagai seorang agent of change. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pengaruh perubahan yang diberikan oleh BTS dalam kampanye ini.

Racism has been a long issue in America until now. One kind of racism is towards Asians. In the year 2020 racism towards Asians have increased during the covid-19 pandemic. Because of the amount of crimes increasing towards Asians a social movement named Stop Asian Hate was made to overcome this situation. The K-POP Group BTS is one of the artists who were involved and participated in this movement. Therefore this study is about the role of BTS in this Stop Asian Hate movement campaign.
This study uses two approaches.The first is the qualitative approach and the second is the constructivism paradigm approach. The data collected for this study consists of the primary data which is documentation and library researches,and as for the secondary data is taken from intensive interviews with informers from experts in fandom,k-pop,racism and American issues.
The result of this study shows that BTS' role in the Stop Asian Hate campaign is an agent of change,taking note that BTS has and holds a huge impact for this campaign.
