Abstract
Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Pendidikan karakter diantaranya adalah kedisiplinan siswa. Kedisiplinan siswa merupakan salah satu karakter siswa yang perlu untuk dibangun. Dalam hal ini, diperlukan upaya guru menjadi role model bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dengan kerangka berfikir kristiani (Christian Worldview) agar dapat membawa siswa untuk menjadi serupa dengan Kristus dalam kemanusiaanNya. Tujuan dari penulisan paper yaitu untuk memaparkan upaya guru menjadi role model dalam membangun kedisiplinan siswa. Dalam menganalisis data, metode yang digunakan peneliti yaitu kualitatif-deskriptif. Pada penelitian serta analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, disimpulkan bahwa seorang guru yang dapat menjadi role model dapat membangun kedisiplinan siswa. Selama proses penelitian, diperoleh fakta bahwa kedisiplinan siswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, oleh karena itu, pada penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan untuk dapat menganalisis dampak dari kedisiplinan siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, pada penelitian kedisiplinan siswa dibutuhkan data yang banyak. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian selanjutnya maka diharapkan untuk meneliti kedisiplinan siswa dalam waktu yang lama./Character education is one of the goals of Indonesian national education. Character education includes student discipline. Student discipline is one of the student characteristics that needs to be built. In this case, the teacher's efforts are needed to become role models for students to improve student discipline with a Christian worldview so that they can bring students to be like Christ in His humanity. The purpose of writing a paper is to describe the teacher's efforts to become a role model in building student discipline. In analyzing the data, the method used by the researcher is qualitative-descriptive. In the research and data analysis conducted by the researcher, it was concluded that a teacher who can be a role model can build student discipline. During the research process, the fact that students' discipline can improve student learning outcomes, therefore, in future research is expected to be able to analyze the impact of student discipline on student learning outcomes. In addition, student discipline research requires a lot of data. Therefore, in future research, it is expected to examine student discipline for a long time.
